Once upon a time...there was a girl called Miss Mags.
She came from a city known for its steel manufacturing during the Industrial Revolution, and despite sometimes wishing she were born in the eighteen eighties, she in fact came from the nineteen eighties. One day, as she strolled along the promenade, she tumbled down a rabbit hole to Wonderland.
A dandy little White Rabbit all dressed in tails and brass buttons met her there and insisted she was late for the tea party, and not very well dressed at all for such a gathering! He ushered her into a little boutique and had her fitted out in the most frabjous frocks they could find. Miss Mags was fashionably late to the tea party.
When she returned back home later in the day, filled with teas and cakes and wonderous things, she found herself thinking curious thoughts. Why, she mused, we should all dress so frabjous and fine as to be ready for such a glorious tea party for one never knows when one shall be visiting Wonderland!
And so it came to be that Miss Mags turned her hand to creating such finery as to ensure any and all, be they fairy, pirate, airship captain, dandy highwayman, time traveller, mad scientist or princess, were prepared for tea wherever they were. Either dressed to the nines in stockings and skirts or proudly adding little one off curiosities to their every day accoutrements to stand out from the crowd, no matter how big or small, a curiosity will always let that little White Rabbit know that should tea be served, they are dressed for the occasion!
